Lux Cherry Villas started with one villa and a single belief — that guests deserve more than accommodation. They deserve an experience. Since 2017 we have grown into a trusted community of handpicked villa owners across Mauritius, each sharing our passion for genuine, personalised hospitality.
We are not an agency. We are local Mauritians who love this island and want every guest to experience it the way we do — authentically, warmly, and unforgettably.
Our journey
2017 — The beginning
One villa. One dream.
Hans launched Lux Cherry Villas with White Horizon in Balaclava — a beautiful villa steps from Turtle Bay. The first guests left five-star reviews and the vision became clear: Mauritius deserved a villa rental company built on genuine hospitality, not just transactions.
2019 — Growing the portfolio
Grand Bay Oasis joins the family.
With White Horizon fully established and consistently receiving rave reviews, we added Grand Bay Oasis in Grand Baie — a 4-bedroom luxury villa with a private pool. Guest demand was growing and we were building something real.
2022 — Community model
Handpicking trusted owners.
We began carefully selecting partner villa owners who shared our values — people who wanted to give guests an experience, not just a bed. Every owner is personally vetted. Every villa is personally visited. This is not a marketplace. It is a community.
2024–2026 — Scaling with purpose
9 villas. 15 coming.
Today Lux Cherry Villas has 9 carefully curated properties across Mauritius — Balaclava, Grand Baie, Pointe aux Cannoniers, and Flic en Flac. We are scaling to 15 villas with the same care and attention that made the first one unforgettable.

Founder & Director
Born and raised in Mauritius, Hans founded Lux Cherry Villas in 2017 with a vision to redefine villa rentals on the island. He personally selects every property and ensures every guest experience meets his exacting standards.
Team Member
Guest Relations
Our guest relations team is available 7 days a week to ensure every stay goes smoothly — from pre-arrival questions to in-stay requests and local recommendations.

Property Management
Responsible for maintaining every villa to our five-star standards — from deep cleaning between guests to coordinating maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Our local concierge team arranges everything from airport transfers and car rentals to catamaran trips and private tours — ensuring no detail is left to chance.
