Booking & Reservation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit payment and written confirmation from Lux Cherry Villas. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

• A deposit of 30% is required to secure your reservation.
• The remaining balance is due 30 days before your check-in date.
• For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Reservations are not confirmed until deposit payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary by property. The following general policy applies to all bookings unless otherwise stated:

• More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund of deposit.
• 30–60 days before arrival: 50% refund of total booking value.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund. Full payment is retained.
• Cancellations must be made in writing via email to hans.26@live.com.
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for all bookings. The amount varies by property and will be specified at the time of booking.

• The security deposit is collected separately from the rental payment.
• It is refunded within 7 days of departure, subject to inspection of the property.
• Deductions may be made for any damage, breakages, excessive cleaning, or missing items.

Check-in & Check-out

• Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00).
• Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM (10:00).
• Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability and an additional fee.
• All guests must provide valid identification upon check-in.

Guest Responsibilities

As a guest, you are responsible for the property during your stay. You agree to:

• Treat the property and its contents with care and respect.
• Not exceed the maximum occupancy as stated in your booking.
• Not hold parties, events, or large gatherings without prior written consent.
• Not smoke inside any of our properties. Smoking areas may be available outside.
• Not bring pets unless the property is explicitly listed as pet-friendly.
• Respect neighbours and maintain reasonable noise levels, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.
• Report any damage or breakages immediately to us.

Liability

Lux Cherry Villas acts as an agent between guests and villa owners. Whilst we take every care to ensure the accuracy of our property descriptions and photos, we cannot be held liable for:

• Minor discrepancies between photos and the actual property.
• Temporary unavailability of amenities due to maintenance or circumstances beyond our control.
• Personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
• Force majeure events including weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

Privacy & Data

Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of managing your booking. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where required to fulfil your reservation (e.g. property owners, payment processors). For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes arising from a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
